MI 18040 - Medical Informatics Capstone IV

Course Description
In this course, the student will complete the implementation of the desired solution and complete project closure activities. The student will prepare a poster and project paper to document the activities undertaken throughout the capstone series.  (prereq: MI 18010 MI 18020 )  (coreq: MI 18030  if not previously taken)
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Define a problem/opportunity statement based on information gained through research and data analytics.
  • Analyze the problem/opportunity and formulate a question that accurately represents the desired solution.
  • Develop and implement the desired solution using appropriate change management and communication strategies.

Prerequisites by Topic
  • Project work for this course is dependent on completion of the work in MI 18010  and MI 18020 , which is identifying the focus and scope of the project.
