MI 18020 - Medical Informatics Capstone II

Course Description
In this course, the student will conduct a review of related literature to identify and incorporate “best practices” into the development of a proposal to address the problem or opportunity identified for the student’s capstone project. (prereq: MI 18010 ) (coreq: MI 18010  if not previously taken)
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Evaluate an informatics scenario, identifying key problem areas and/or opportunities from multiple perspectives, such as ethical, legal, and social.
  • Demonstrate the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of a scenario from a systems perspective.
