Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Technical and Business Management program gives AAS graduates an option to advance their career with a bachelor’s degree. Students with an approved associate degree from a technical college will enter MSOE as a junior and seamlessly transfer to MSOE’s B.S. in Technical and Business Management program. Students will learn key aspects of technical sales including networking, psychology of sales, prospecting, forecasting and key communication strategies.
Student Outcomes
Graduates with a B.S. in Technical and Business Management will be able to:
- Strategically analyze, evaluate, and solve business problems using technology and an understanding of the social context
- Prepare and deliver concise, persuasive stakeholder-centered information in a professional manner
- Develop leaders of character who promote effectiveness in working with and leading diverse teams
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset
- Understand buyer motivations in technical sales process

Technical and Business Management, B.S. Version S1
Year One
Students will generally transfer in 45 credits of technical electives and 15 credits of general education equivalent classes, thus entering with junior standing. The following is a generic track for most AAS technical programs. Please contact the program director for a detailed curriculum path for a specific technical program.

With some exceptions, including BUS 2222, these courses must be taught out of the Humanities, Social Science, and Communication, Mathematics, or Physics and Chemistry Departments.
