EE 3112 - Analog Electronics II3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits Course Description This course focuses on design with operational amplifiers. Linear and non-linear amplifiers, active filters, and signal generators are covered. The concepts of stability of operational amplifier circuits are introduced. Static and dynamic limitations are covered. Emphasis is placed on the design of different kinds of operational amplifier circuits and their applications. (prereq: EE 3102 or EE 3002B ) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the fundamentals of operational amplifiers
- Design operational amplifier circuits with resistive feedback
- Design simple active filters
- Describe static and dynamic limitations of operational amplifiers
- Determine stability of operational amplifier circuits
- Design non-linear operation amplifier circuits
