MA 137A - Calculus for Engineers II4 lecture hours 0 lab hours 4 credits This course is a continuation of MA 136 and an introduction to integral calculus. Topics include Newton’s method, differentials, basic integration of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic and inverse trig functions. Topics also include rectilinear motion, areas and volumes of revolution, different integration techniques and numerical integration methods. This course is a continuation of MA 137 . The ‘A’ designation after the course number indicates this is a special section taught by our Learning Resource Center staff. There are extra math lab hours built in as a requirement for successful completion of the course. (prereq: MA 136 )
