OR 101 - Strategies for Academic Success

This course is designed to help students admitted to MSOE on probation develop effective study strategies and understand the learning process. Students learn to apply proven strategies for preparing for exams, managing time, reading and studying efficiently, and setting goals. Through discussion and other activities, they reflect on their college experiences and begin to view learning as a process that can be planned and monitored. (prereq: probationary admission status)
