NU 2810 - Pharmacology I

This course introduces students to the effects of drugs on physiological systems. Topics include general principles of pharmacology, drug use across the lifespan, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and immunological drugs, peripheral nervous system pharmacology, drugs affecting fluid and electrolyte balance, drugs for heart, blood vessel, and blood disorders, and cancer chemotherapy drugs.  (prereq: BI 172  (C grade), BI 273  (C grade), BI 274  (C grade), BI 102  NU 290 )
