MT 466 - Tool Design2 lecture hours 2 lab hours 3 credits In this course students examine the design, construction, and performance characteristics of industrial manufacturing tooling. Design strategies based on work piece function, quality assurance measures, production capabilities, and human factors are explored. Students are required to produce all documentation necessary for the complete fabrication of a tool of their own design. (prereq: IE 423 , MT 1201 , MT 228 )
