MS 443 - Labor Relations3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits This course provides students with a basic understanding of the history, purpose and development of the labor movement in the United States and describes the various labor organizations that have evolved, merged and become viable elements of organized labor. It also takes up the collective bargaining process, and issues and provisions of typical labor agreements are reviewed and interpreted. (prereq: MS 221 ; MS 331 is recommended)
