MS 361 - Marketing3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits An introductory course to marketing that familiarizes students with the marketing concept and helps them understand how the marketing concept influences various decisions made by managers in a firm. Topics include the evolution of marketing, the significance and use of marketing research, marketing segmentation, product and/or service positioning, distribution, pricing, customer relationship management, and a variety of strategies for marketing communication and promotion.
