ET 4250 - Electromagnetic Field Applications

3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits
This course is a continuation of ET 3201  and ET 4261 . Electrostatic and magnetostatic fields are extended to potentials, time-dependent electromagnetic fields, and Maxwell’s equations through the concepts of Faraday’s law and displacement current. Several application topics are covered in both the lecture and laboratory, including magnetic circuits, mutual indicators, antenna radiation and links, and an introduction to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal integrity. (prereq: ET 3060 , ET 4261 )
