EE 2503 - Linear Circuit Analysis3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits This course introduces the non-electrical engineering student to basic DC circuit analysis. Topics include electrical quantities and definitions—voltage, current, power and energy; circuit analysis techniques using Ohm’s and Kirchhoff’s Laws, mesh currents and nodal voltages, network reduction, and Thevenin and Norton equivalents; and terminal characteristics of resistors, capacitors, inductors and operational amplifiers. (prereq: MA 128 or MA 137 )
