Course Description
This course offers students an exciting environment in which they develop talents in the performance and appreciation of music. The course will provide students with organized rehearsal and performance opportunities to build their passion for music. Students will have opportunities to perform for athletic events such as: basketball games, hockey games, and others.
Prereq: Experience playing on woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Display strong foundations in performance of pep band literature
- Demonstrate their talents and skills in ensemble playing in a variety of public venues
- Demonstrate skills and understanding of concepts of music performance in an ensemble such as: sound, rhythm, style, articulation, blend, character, and other aspects of band performance
