BUS 4802 - Internship/Practicum0 lecture hours 0 lab hours 2 credits Course Description This internship is a supplement experience that coincides with the BUS 4901 Capstone project when connected to a company client. The student is expected to work at their internship company at least 6 hours per week. Project status reports will be submitted related to progress on the Capstone project. (prereq: none) (coreq: BUS 4901 ) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Supplement their academic experience with professional experience prior to graduation
- Expand their professional skills
- Synthesize and transfer learning across new contexts to address complex problems
- Work constructively with others toward a common goal
- Apply sound principles of critical or analytical reasoning and evaluation of evidence
- Practice open-minded intellectual inquiry, creative exploration, and engagement with different perspectives
