BA 3593 - Intermediate Finance3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description This course will provide an overview of corporate finance including relevant theory and practical application. (prereq: BA 2505 ) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the common factors influencing dividend policy
- Describe applications of derivatives in financial markets and calculate their value
- Identify key financial elements in merger and acquisition decisions, including business valuation
- Apply risk and return model to financial decisions
