Overview

The UX minor at MSOE provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills in inclusive, human-centered design to a variety of interfaces (digital, physical, voice, AR, VR, and mixed), UX research and strategy, and digital workplace. These skills are vital in enhancing digital literacy and optimizing experiences in a wide range of industries, particularly in the field of technological innovations. The UX minor is an excellent complement to a degree in software, computer, industrial, and biomedical engineering, and actuarial science and business. The UX minor requires a minimum of 18 semester credits in eligible courses. The UX program director may approve additional courses applicable to the minor. Students pursuing a UX major are not eligible to complete a UX minor. For additional information, see the minors policy .
