Overview

An electrical engineering minor complements many other engineering majors, providing a comprehensive circuits foundation and the option to gain depth in key topical electrical engineering areas. The EE minor requires 20 credits minimum, 8 required credits and then 12 credits from the list of approved courses. Students pursuing an electrical engineering major are not eligible to complete an electrical engineering minor. For additional information, see the minors policy.

Students complete both courses below, totaling 8 credits:

Approved Elective Courses


Students choose 12 credits from the list below. At least six of the credits must be ELE3xxx-level courses or higher. Course substitutions are allowed with approval of the EE program director.
