Overview

The Psychology minor is designed to enhance students’ understanding of human behavior, emotion, and thought processes. Students who complete the minor will be able to recognize and appreciate human diversity; reflect on and broaden their understanding of the dynamics of personal and professional relationships; and expand their awareness of/proficiency in (the areas of) learning, memory, and communication. These skills can be transferred to careers in a wide range of fields that require direct or indirect human interaction. The Minor complements MSOE Nursing, Business, and User Experience majors. It provides the deeper understanding of people that is essential for 21st century scholars of all engineering disciplines. For additional information, see the minors policy.
