Overview

The Technical Communication (TC) minor is designed to enhance students’ professional communication skills and prepare them for personal and workplace communication challenges. Courses in the minor teach students how to design and deliver impactful messages, work effectively in a team environment, identify and resolve interpersonal conflicts, and develop and deliver high-impact professional presentations. These skills can be transferred to careers in a wide range of fields, including today’s fast-growing science and healthcare communication, engineering and technology fields. The minor complements many MSOE majors, particularly those in engineering, nursing, business, and actuarial science programs. For additional information, see the minors policy.
