Program Description
Committed to designing for people, User Experience (UX) professionals create user-friendly products and services that make the world a better, easier place to live in. Our curriculum empowers you to embrace human-centered design and engineering to create innovative design solutions for existing technologies (apps, websites, digital dashboards and displays) and emerging technologies (think AR, VR, and AI) with core courses in interface and interaction design, front-end development, design research and strategy. Your learning at MSOE will mirror how you will work in industry. You will work closely with faculty and peers through project-based learning, strengthening your ability to work within the fast-paced workplace of today.

Notes:
19 credits of major electives are required. Major electives can be any college level course relevant to the degree. Major electives must be approved by the PD.
215 credits of HU/SS are required. Of them, six credits must be taken in HU and six credits in SS.
3 Students must have a minimum of four credits of college level science courses, appropriate for the program curriculum. An associated lab must be part of the academic experience. The sum total of the college-level courses in mathematics and science must meet the minimum of 16 credits.
4Three additional credits in any one of the three categories (Mathematics and Science, Professional Preparedness, and Humanities & Social Science).
