ELE 4940 - THL Bachelor Thesis

Course Description
Students enrolled in this course are afforded the opportunity to pursue a specialized topic in their chosen field of study. After an approved area of study has been selected, weekly meetings with the course advisor are required. A final written report, the format of which is left to the discretion of the advisor, is required at the end of the term. (prereq: THL coordinator consent)
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Carry out an in-depth independent investigation on a technical topic with minimal supervision
  • Write a formal report which clearly presents a new body of knowledge learned
