BUS 3420 - Innovation and Entrepreneurship3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description How does innovation and the entrepreneurial mindset apply to all companies? Have you ever wondered how to start a business of your own? This course explores how innovation, creativity, and value creation are the foundation for leading companies today. Students will apply tools such as brainstorming, business model canvas, and idea generation methodologies to solve a real-world problem. Students will prepare an analysis of a market challenge, craft a solution, and present it to an audience. (prereq: sophomore standing) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

- Articulate understanding of entrepreneurial readiness
- Identify market challenges and brainstorm new business ideas
