SS 3630 - Design Thinking3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description This course introduces students to the foundations of design thinking as a human-centered approach to solving complex problems. Design thinking is approached as a methodology that drives innovation and creativity across diverse fields: from user experience, business, to engineering and beyond. The course draws on the design thinking theory and best practices. Additionally, students learn about design thinking approaches adopted by top technology and business companies, health care providers, social innovation, and hospitality services.
