TC 342 - Professional Presentations3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description The course is designed to challenge conventional methods of creating and delivering professional presentations. The course incorporates several ground-breaking presentation approaches that have influenced the perceptions of the world’s famous brands and businesses. Through hands-on projects, students will learn how to apply innovative presentation techniques to create influential content, captivating visuals, and dynamic and memorable performances. (prereq: GS 1002 or GS 1020H , GS 1003 or GS 1030H , and sophomore standing) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Communicate design ideas effectively
- Deliver professional team presentations
- Facilitate a web-based presentation
- Use creativity and innovation in slide design and delivery
