AE 225 - Specifications and Contracts3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Provides a working knowledge of principles for writing effective specifications and interpreting standard construction industry contracts. The course begins with a review of contract law fundamentals. Contract document standards, as related to the CSI MasterFormat, are studied. Students compare provisions of AIA and AGC contract provisions in the context of risk, ethical behavior, and administrative procedures. (prereq: AE 1231 , AE 1301 )
