AE 1231 - Building Construction Materials3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits This course is a study of the properties of construction materials, methods of manufacturing and installation. Materials include wood, steel, concrete, masonry, asphalt and gypsum as components of architectural engineering. A laboratory reinforces the principles presented in lecture. (prereq: one year high school chemistry or CH-090)
