CM 3011 - Project Management for AEs and CMs3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Introduces architectural engineering and civil engineering students to the construction project cycle, emphasizing preconstruction activities: project planning, requests for proposals, value management, constructability, management information systems, scheduling of preconstruction tasks, and typical preconstruction conferences. Teaches typical roles and responsibilities of project team members to enable effective student interaction during senior project. Student writes and presents summary of a construction management topic from a recent peer-reviewed journal article. (prereq: AE 225 )
