Overview

MSOE’s graduate certificate in Applied Machine Learning is a nine-month, part-time program for students who have software development experience that develops foundational skills in data science, machine learning, deep learning, and AI with an emphasis on applications. Coverage of machine learning concepts and theory is balanced with practical, hands-on exercises guided by experienced faculty. Upon completion, students will be able to design, implement, and evaluate AI-driven solutions and be positioned to apply data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in their professional work. The Applied ML certificate can be used to prepare for other our graduate machine learning certificates in Generative AI Production Systems, ML Engineering, and TinyML or as a first step towards our Master’s in Machine Learning.
