Overview
MSOE’s strong technical focus and industry driven curriculum provides a broad-based exploration of Operations and Systems Management. It delves deeply into supply chain management, operations management, enterprise resources planning (ERP), continuous improvement, and project management to provide students with a unique blend of technical skills, business knowledge and practical hands-on experiences. The program prepares students to be innovative collaborators with the power to leverage strategic thinking and technology to improve operating efficiency.
Student Program Outcomes
Graduates with a B.S. in Operations and Systems Management will be able to:
- Strategically analyze, evaluate, and solve business problems using technology and an understanding of the social context.
- Prepare and deliver, concise, persuasive stakeholder-centered information in a professional manner.
- Develop leaders of character who promote effectiveness in working with and leading diverse teams.
- Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Evaluate a continuous improvement project using appropriate technology & analysis tools.
