MSOE’s MSN program is based on the fact that nurses at mid-management, executive levels and nurse entrepreneurs must have the capacity to manage financial resources, manage human capital, analyze large data sets, understand complex organizational systems, and ensure quality and safety, all through the lens of nursing practice.

The program is designed for students who have a BS in Nursing. It meets CCNE criteria for accreditation and the NONPF competencies. Students will complete a total of 600 practicum hours in the program and will complete the program in two years if full-time status is maintained. The PMHNP program has been endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation.

Students who complete the degree are eligible for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) national certification examination as a PMHNP. Graduates of the program are also eligible to take the holistic nursing credentialing examination.
