User Experience (UX) professionals are part of the technology industry that aims to understand the end user in order to design and develop functional, enjoyable, and user-friendly products, services, and environments. UX is one of the fastest-growing and innovative career paths today. 

The UX minor at MSOE provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills in the fields of human-centered design, interface and interaction design, UX research, and design thinking. These skills are vital in designing and optimizing user experience in a wide range of industries, particularly in the field of digital innovations and emerging technologies. The UX minor is an excellent complement to a degree in software, computer, industrial, and biomedical engineering; and actuarial science. 

The UX minor requires a minimum of 25 quarter credits in eligible courses.1
