Program Description
Committed to designing for people, User Experience (UX) professionals create user-friendly products and services that make the world a better, easier place to live in. As a UX student, you will learn how to solve hard problems through design thinking and collaboration (think Post-it Notes and white boards), user-centered design techniques (think sketching and prototyping) and user research (think watching and talking to people). Our curriculum empowers you to embrace existing technologies (think apps, websites, digital dashboards and displays) and emerging technologies (think AR, VR, and AI) with core courses in interface design, front-end development, design research and strategy. Your learning at MSOE will mirror how you will work in industry. You will work closely with faculty and peers through project-based learning, strengthening your ability to work within the fast-paced workplace of today.
