The Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (AE), a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management (CM), a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (CV), a Masters of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering.  The CAECM Department also has an option for a five-year, freshman-to-master’s degree program for both civil engineering and for architectural engineering, which students must apply for the master’s component at the end of their third year.  The department also offers a five-year, double-major option, which allows students to earn both the B.S. in Architectural Engineering and B.S. in Construction Management degrees.

The AE bachelor’s degree program has concentrations in building structural, mechanical and electrical systems design. The CM bachelor’s degree program emphasizes building estimating, scheduling and project management for commercial and industrial building projects. The CV bachelor’s degree program offers specializations in structural engineering, environmental and water resources engineering, transportation engineering, and construction management.

All BS and MS degree programs within the CAECM department are supported by extensive design studios and laboratory facilities.
