MB 6950 - Facilitating Change in Complex Systems2 lecture hours 4 lab hours 4 credits Course Description Students will review the theories of change applicable to complex organizations, and begin to understand effective change as a well-orchestrated process. Students will learn a variety of organizational intervention strategies that can begin to disrupt a system’s equilibrium and move the system toward a new desired state. Both evolutionary and revolutionary approaches to organization change will be discussed. Students will learn to address key people, process, policy, and implementation issues surrounding a change effort through the analysis of change plans.
