EV 728 - Design of Hydraulic Systems3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description Hydraulic engineering is a specialized discipline of civil engineering principally concerned with the design of water control and conveyance systems. In this course, the student will apply the principles of fluid mechanics in closed conduits and open channels to the modeling and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, pumping stations, and flow measurement and control devices.
