CV 892 - Capstone Design Project II3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description This is the second quarter of the capstone design course and is a follow-on to CV-890. Requirements of the second quarter of the course include the following: (1) performance of the detailed technical design for the project;(2) preparation of a final written report detailing the project. The report shall include as a minimum: (i) background on the project and a description of the environmental problem being solved; (ii) a literature review of previously encountered problems of a similar nature and of any relevant technologies; (iii) a description of the solution methodology chosen for the project, including a discussion of any alternative strategies that were considered during the design phase; (iv) a presentation of the final design including details of the economics of the proposed design, as well as technical specifications and completed regulatory paperwork); and (4) an oral presentation of the project before a faculty review committee.
