By uncovering the sources, forces, and factors that form societies, the student will develop a deeper appreciation for, and a clearer understanding of, the rich cultural diversity of our world. Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: • Know more about being human. • Understand that cultural differences may have roots in physical and social environments. • Be more tolerant and understanding of other peoples and ways.
