OR 2000 - Leadership and Teamwork0 lecture hours 2 lab hours 1 credits Course Description This course is designed to give students a good working knowledge of multiple aspects of managerial processes such as motivation and communication patterns, group processes, leadership approaches, use of power, development of trust, effective group facilitation, negotiation and persuasion, conflict resolution, effective change, and ethics. Current trends and issues such as globalization and diversity are emphasized throughout the course. Emphasis is given not only to the theoretical context, but the practical consequences of leadership and teamwork with special emphasis placed upon Servant-Leadership.
