AF 4141 - National Security Affairs/Preparation for Active Duty 13 lecture hours 2 lab hours 3 credits Course Description Examines the national security policy process, regional studies, and formulation of the American defense policy, strategy and joint doctrine. Special topics of interest focus on the military as a profession; US Air Force functions, competencies and doctrine; officership; the military justice system; civilian control of the military; preparation for Air Force active duty; and current issues affecting military professionalism. Within this structure, continued emphasis is given to the refinement of communication skills. Students pursuing Air Force commission must register for AF-1051. Offered fall term.
