HU 100E - Contemporary Issues in the Humanities

3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits
This course introduces students to selected contemporary issues in the humanities. At the same time, this course introduces students to approaches for interpreting and synthesizing the contexts surrounding these issues and for making personal connections between the issues and their own personal experiences, beliefs, and values. Students will be acquainted with contemporary issues through a variety of media, including film, slides, readings and participation in a fine arts experience.  The ‘E’ Designation signifies a section that offers additional language support for English language learners.
