CH 200B - Chemistry I3 lecture hours 3 lab hours 4 credits This is a general chemistry course for students in engineering and nursing degree programs. Students will design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data and relate experimental results to theoretical understandings of chemical phenomena. Specifically, students will more thoroughly understand such subjects as basic chemical calculations, nomenclature, atomic structure, intra- and intermolecular forces, kinetic molecular theory, properties of gases, and solutions. Not for credit for students who have credit for CH 103 , CH 310 , CH 200 or CH 200A . This course is designed for students who did not take chemistry in high school or need a refresher course because they took a chemistry class more than five years ago. (prereq: MA 128 or MA 129 , PH 113 )
