IE 383 - Simulation

3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits
Focusing on discrete-event systems, this course incorporates spreadsheets, simulation languages, and simulation software to analyze, design, and improve production and service systems. The simulation process and statistical analysis of input and output are addressed. A strong emphasis is placed on decision making and design. (prereq: IE 382  and IE 193  or consent of instructor)
