ET 4710 - Feedback Control Systems and Circuits3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits The student is introduced to the analysis, design and applications of feedback control systems in this course. The topics include the concepts of open- and closed-loop systems, transient and steady-state responses, system speed and error performance, techniques used to determine closed-loop system stability, and design of basic controllers. Modeling and simulation of control systems will be covered using commercially available simulation languages. Typical applications of feedback control systems and circuits will be investigated in the laboratory sessions. (prereq: ET 3001 )
