ET 3001 - Transient Circuit Analysis3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits The analysis of electric circuits in both the time domain and the Laplace transform domain is covered in this course. The circuit responses to a variety of waveforms, including step, ramp, sinusoid, switched, exponential, and impulse functions, are analyzed. Time domain differential equations and Laplace transforms are emphasized as circuit analysis techniques. The student will also learn to design circuits and experiments that will illustrate the concepts introduced in this course. (prereq: ET 3051 , MA 227 )
