EG 122 - Engineering Graphics and Visualization

1 lecture hours 3 lab hours 2 credits
This course is designed to develop within the student the skills necessary to visualize three-dimensional relationships existing in the world around us and to represent, with standard graphic conventions, those relationships in a visual form. Topics include shape and orientation recognition, pictorial sketching and mechanical layout conventions including normal views, auxiliary views, sections, dimensioning and scales. In addition, projective geometry theory is presented as a basis for analysis of true size, shape, and distance.
