EE 493 - Advanced Microprocessors2 lecture hours 2 lab hours 3 credits This course provides students the understanding and programming techniques for advanced microprocessors/controllers. Topics discussed include CPU organization, instruction set formats, addressing modes, real-time operating systems, task control blocks, message passing, semaphores, mailboxes, memory and I/O interfacing, resource and memory management.
