AIR 4141 - National Security Affairs/Preparation for Active Duty I

Course Description
Examines the national security policy process, regional studies, and formulation of the American defense policy, strategy and joint doctrine. Special topics of interest focus on the military as a profession; US Air Force functions, competencies and doctrine; officership; the military justice system; civilian control of the military; preparation for Air Force active duty; and current issues affecting military professionalism. Within this structure, continued emphasis is given to the refinement of communication skills.
Prereq: None
Coreq: Students pursuing an Air Force commission must also be concurrently enrolled in AIR 1051
