UGR 4972 - Undergraduate Research Thesis II3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits
Course Description
This is the second course in the two-course undergraduate research sequence culminating in a written thesis. In the second course, the student completes their main body of research. By the end of the course, the student will have written a thesis document and given an oral presentation reporting on their research.
Prereq: UGR 4971 , department chair consent
Note: Course may not be repeated for credit.

Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate technical and scientific expertise in the research area
- Prepare a written thesis, which documents the research project and findings
- Deliver an oral presentation on their research project and findings
- Demonstrate independent thinking and learning
