CV 5320 - Traffic Control3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description This course is an intermediate level course in the concepts of roadway traffic control. Roadway traffic control is essential for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. (prereq: CV 3320 or basic knowledge of traffic engineering; graduate standing or senior standing with consent of graduate program director or department chair) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Acquire a detailed understanding of several roadway traffic control devices
- Understand the application of roadway traffic control devices
- Select appropriate roadway traffic control devices
- Design roadway traffic control devices
