Course Description
This course serves as an introduction to anatomy and physiology for body systems most commonly visualized with medical imaging. Body systems include the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, the musculoskeletal system, and the gastrointestinal system.  (prereq: none)
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Describe the basic physiological function of each organ system covered in the course
  • Identify names and structural features of anatomical structures salient to medical imaging investigation
